Happy Thanksgiving 2009

It was a fun-filled family Thanksgiving Day at the Gee's. As you can see the little kids enjoyed the chickens and the chicken coop! The big kids ate and crashed in any empty chair or spot on the floor. The tradtional menu of turkey, mashed taters, stuffing, gravy, homemade cranberry relish, and various other vegetable casseroles completed the dinner. Desserts included apple pie, pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin roll, chocolate pie, and jello salad. I think there were 29 of us this year!

That is a house full- and not your house I see. Menu sounded about like ours- way too much for the 4 of us. When I wanted a turkey sandwich realized I sent both leftover bags home with kids..no sandwich for us. Yes talk of PA for Thanksgiving and hunting ----can't imagine him there without me!
